Let there be millions of these romantic idealisms bloom across campuses. Yesterday I was watching a news program on malayalam tv where they were attacking this kid as if she did some crime against their "intellectualism".
Campus life is the time that one becomes adolescent from childhood and youthful human from adolescent with those idealism they may or may not carry rest of their life. If they are not being romantic at that point of time, at what point of time you expect them to be idealistic. Not everybody become artists in life to be idealistic rest of their life.
It reminds me a poetry published by Mathrubhumi during my college days when a girl wrote about her pain and love towards a romantic rebel leader with cycle chain in campus. There were 20 or more poems that were written from various campuses across Kerala in response to that poem and interestingly many of them were published by Mathrubhumi as sequel to it as well. Of course that point of time we did not have 24 x 7 tvs and social net worksites to make it viral but still it got reverberated in campuses along with Balachandran Chullikkad, Kadamanitta, Vinayachandran and others.
Certainly at times our media sulk very badly . Chill guys… please enjoy these innocent idealism and youthfulness and keep your criticality in your dustbin.
