UK & Modi

Considering the visit of a head of state is a prolong process of negotiated settlement, four biggest protocol disasters during Prime minister's UK visit need explanation from external affairs ministry and UK.
1. It is an usual practice across the world to extend a red carpet welcome to the heads of states of friendly nations. Withdrawal of the same has high symbolic value in diplomacy. UK withdrew Red carpet to welcome Indian Prime minister.
2. No heads of state ever taunt a visiting head of state in their welcome speech for the internal affairs of their country . They raise their concerns, if any, during some other occasion or at some another venue. UK premier taunted Indian Prime minister about the issue of intolerance during his welcome speech! This is a significant climb down on diplomatic relationship between the two countries.
3. During the joint press conference, apart from BBC's pruning questioning, UK Premier invited and allowed the Guardian reporter to make a statement that "you are not welcome" to Indian Prime minister during his allowed question. This is something unheard of anywhere in the world during the visit of a head of state from a friendly nation.
4. Indian Prime minister was to address a joint parliament session and UK organised the address on sidewalks of the parliament in a Gallery and that too with very few MPs
Things are not going to be healthy between India and UK after these diplomatic disasters.
Our Fundamentalist so called "fringe" , the main stream splinters of RSS can be proud for bring down the credibility and prestige of our country and its prime minister across the world so fast and Mr Modi for his silence back home on these "fringe's" deplorable activities
