If history of Tipu is only a story of tyrant and not fit for identity politics associated with freedom, then from Pazhassi raja, Rani Chennama, Jhansi ki Rani, Shivaji Maharaj, Rana Prathap and many other heroes of this landscape will become just another story of greedy fanatic monarch, nothing better.
