seed

In every seed lies the potential for a tree, and within every tree exists the multitude of seeds. It is remarkable how the journey of a single seed gives rise to numerous offspring, while the tree itself is but a fleeting presence. This paradox leads us to question our understanding, as we grapple with the purpose of seeds in creating enduring trees.

Perhaps we are entangled in confusion or deliberately feigning ignorance, as we struggle to explain the existence of long-lasting trees in service of transient seeds. It compels us to reconsider the initial statement and propose an alternative perspective: "There are seeds within every seed." This notion prompts us to contemplate nature's intention—does it prioritize the seed or the tree? Equally, we must ponder the role of life itself: is it primarily concerned with generating seeds or nurturing trees?

Neither generating seeds nor nurturing trees can be the sole purpose, as nature conceals the potential for a tree within each seed. Moreover, solely nurturing trees cannot be the ultimate objective, for trees merely represent a fleeting intermediary stage between seed and subsequent seeds.

But is this truly the case?

Meanwhile, seeds rest upon my plate, sustaining my life. In this context, I am neither a seed nor a tree. I exist as a beneficiary of nature's intricate cycles, contemplating the profound interplay between seeds and trees, pondering the fundamental purpose of life itself.
