Till very late in my youth, I used to get scared by the sight of pregnant women. I would often get down from buses if I found some pregnant women on the bus. Even though I have a large number of sisters (cousins) in my family and have seen them pregnant, somehow, the very idea of a pregnant woman still scares me a lot.

My fascination for Pieta may have been influenced by this fear.
